1. Storing candles

Candles should be stored in a cool, dark, and dry place. Excessive heat or direct sunlight can melt the surface of the candle, which affects fragrance diffusion and may result in insufficient fragrance release when lit.

2. Lighting the candles

Before lighting a candle, trim the core of the candle by 5 to 8 mm. When using for the first time, let it burn for 2 to 3 hours. Candles have a combustion memory. If the wax around the wick is not heated evenly and the surface melts completely when first lit, the candle will subsequently burn only around the wick.

3. Increase the burn time

Always keep the wick between 5 and 8 mm. Trimming the wick ensures an even burn, prevents black smoke, and prevents smoke and dust from forming on the glass. Make sure the candle burns for 2 hours at a time, but no more than 4 hours. For a longer burn, extinguish the candle every 4 hours, trim the wick to 5 mm, and then relight it.

4. Extinguish the candle
